I’m Lakshmi Pulavarthi, a homemaker and mother of two boys. Married at 18 and a mother by 19, my life revolved around family, but deep inside, I had an unshakable passion for learning and exploring. I’ve always been curious, constantly asking what, where, and when about everything that interests me.

Though I couldn’t continue my formal education due to household responsibilities, my love for knowledge never faded. I devoured books of all kinds and, in 2016, discovered the endless possibilities of the internet. From music and nail art to rangoli, mehendi, and blogging, I explored and learned as much as I could.

One day, my sister-in-law mentioned buying a saree from Facebook, which sparked an idea. I started exploring online saree businesses, initially purchasing for myself. What began as a hobby soon turned into a full-fledged business. Unlike regular collections, I focused on unique sarees, directly connecting with weavers, vendors, and manufacturers across India. Over time, I built a network of resellers across India and abroad.

During COVID-19, my business flourished, but I still wanted to achieve more. After seven years of online business and overcoming personal struggles, I finally launched my own brand—Manas Exclusives in 2025. Many questioned me: Why do you need this? Is it possible? But I believed in myself. Hard-earned success brings true satisfaction, and this journey is my way of proving it.
